WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

The 101:Fund has been providing scholarships for PHS graduates with financial need for over 47 years.

We tracked down 101:Fund scholarship recipients from the past 15 years to find out how their 101 scholarship STlLL continues to make a positive impact on their lives. How it provided a stepping stone to other opportunities, and how it shaped them professionally and personally.
Meet ELZA CROCCO MCKENNA, PHS class of 2003!

“Support from 101:Fund gave me a chance to travel across the country for a degree that would ultimately transform my life and shape me into the person I am today. I learned new and different ways of thinking at Rhodes College. I learned how to foster creative and progressive change in the world around me. I became a more empathetic, dynamic thinker.

My undergraduate experience inspired my desire to teach in the inner-city of Memphis. I felt a strong desire to share quality education with children as a result of the quality education and opportunities I had received from others.

All of this was set into motion in part because of my scholarship from 101.”

As the president of 101:, I want to thank the board members, student auxiliary members, mentors, and members of the PHS staff who worked so hard to support the fund in 2017. Of course, we couldn't do it without our donors, whose generosity makes the college dreams of our PHS graduates come true. We are so thankful for the community members who help to make sure everyone in Princeton has a chance to attend college.

The 101 Fund has the GREATEST PHS student auxiliary volunteers! These dedicated kids did a great job of assembling care packages for our Mercer County Community College scholarship recipients to boost morale before finals. Not only did they handwrite inspiring messages to each student, they DONATED the goodies in each care package!
Do you want to add your support to this wonderful community cause? Please donate! fund101.org/donate/
